Barton Broad is the Norfolk Broads’ second largest broad
The Boardwalk is the only spot from which you can get out onto a viewing platform of the Broad itself.
It’s just a 40 minute walk from Ye Olde Saddlery (although you can drive and park half way). It’s a wonderful spot for birdwatching and looking out for wildlife in general, fish and even otters. You’re also likely to see boats sailing, and if you visit over August Bank Holiday you’ll see the fabulous Barton Regatta, put on by the Norfolk Punt Club!

If you love being at one with nature, Norfolk is a fabulous location. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of the Norfolk Broads but with close access to Norwich and the Coast, come and visit us at Ye Olde Saddlery in Neatishead.
